Joe Lazala is an editor and post-production specialist working primarily in DaVinci Resolve Studio, with hands-on experience across narrative filmmaking, broadcast environments, and technical production workflows.
Before focusing fully on narrative film and post-production, Joe worked extensively in broadcast AV and courtroom videography. That background shaped a disciplined approach to organization, delivery standards, and working under real-world constraints, all of which continue to inform his editorial workflow today.
Joe has contributed to multiple short and feature films in editorial, sound, and visual roles, including projects that have screened at film festivals and received nominations. His editing experience spans DaVinci Resolve Studio, Final Cut Pro, and Adobe Premiere Pro, with a current focus on Resolve-based post-production workflows.
In post-production, Joe emphasizes pacing, clarity, and emotional continuity, always in service of the director’s vision. With over 25 years of experience in IT, he brings strong technical problem-solving skills, workflow efficiency, and reliability to every project.
